Home Sweet Home for 1 week already.. How time flies..
Just a blink of an eye, I am already back home for one week. Time really flies, it seems just yesterday I took my flight home from Melbourne. I could still remember the anxiety I was facing when I was alone waiting to board the plane at the lounge. Yet now after one week, I am relaxing in the comfort of my own home.
The first person I saw was my dad, then my mum(coz she is smaller in size.. Hehe). I was really excited to be back home at the point of time, all I wanted to do when I depart from the plane was to head for the arrival hall. I ended up rushing like mad, even started perspiring in the freezing airport. I also had a pleasant surprise from part of klashcs gang namely Mun, Ying, Cui and shawn. They are so sweet to come to pick me despite their busy schedule. I was really happy to have them by my side.
Well, I also have a pleasant surprise for someone special. But I guess it backfired a little. My poor dear, who was "cheated" by me for almost one month. It all began when I was deciding the date to return home. In the end, I booked the ticket for 20 june without telling my dear about it coz my initial booking was 21 june. I even had to bluff my way through, a few times leaking out info. When I came back, he didn't even know until the time I "surprise" him. Hehe*evil wink*.. I guess he did had a shock of his life. Sorry dear for making you worried for one night. I promise that there won't be such surprise joke anymore.
In this short one week, I think I done alot alot of things, as compared to my one month in Melbourne. The first thing I ate was cha siew pau. Haha. The first call I receive was from Felicia. The total number of smses I sent in the first night is almost 50 (less than what I sms in Melb for 4 mths!) The first lunch I had was with my dear and serena. The first dinner was with my family. The first clubbing experience in MoS was with Feli, Ann and Jia on Ladies' Nite. And the list goes on.. I did not stay at home for more than 12 hours everyday except 25 june, coz it was my birthday party.
25 June ~ Shan's Princessy Birthday Party
It was a great day though it didn't started out great. Coz of my mum's nagging, the only thing I hate when I am back. Only when Raine + my klashcs + alicia came, did things got better. They improved my house atmosphere alot, coz the buffet came super early and my mum and dad were busy arguing which is super irritating. After when they got down to prepare my deco(which was not up eventually), my house was slowly packing with people. I am so glad my relatives came, coz it has been a long time since we met too. I enjoyed myself coz I got to talk to many people whom I haven't met for months. I love all the prezzies that I got from my friends. This year I got 3 watches. Hehe. One from my dad, another from klashcs and alicia, and one from my dear. How lucky I am. I never had a chance to buy my own watch. Haha. I love the present my poly friends gave me too - Precious Moments "Missing u" figurine. It is really lovely. This is one present that touched me most is the Winnie the Pooh jigsaw puzzle done by my dear (with additional help :P). So sweet of him to spend time doing that, coz it is not a guy's thing. Even a girl also might not do that (like me lo..haha). My sweet dear not only spent time fixing jigsaw puzzle, also spent time and effort looking for the particular Guess? watch for me. Hehe. I really appreciate all the effort put in. The most interesting gift is from Raine, coz she thinks I am a b***h. Haha. Okok joking. Everyone thinks that I like pink, coz Serena gave me a pink bag, so did Melb friends who gave me a pink jacket. Well in fact, I think I like white more than pink. Just that white can be quite boring to dress sometimes so I always end up wearing pink. Hehe. But pink is still one of my favourite colours, so don't worry.
